Join us on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at the Cat Club of the Palm Beaches Cat Show in Sanford! Our feline cardiac screening clinic will be held on-site at the Sanford Civic Center, surrounded by beautiful cats, exciting competitions, and fellow feline enthusiasts. Pay for each pet separately.

About the event
WHO:
All evaluations (exam, screening echocardiogram with report provided) will be performed by board-certified veterinary cardiologist, Dr. Paulo Rivera, DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology).
WHAT:
An echocardiogram is the gold standard diagnostic tool to screen and diagnose heart disease and cardiomyopathy.
This clinic is NOT open to pets previously diagnosed with cardiac disease (congenital or acquired) or those on cardiac medications.
IMPORTANT: This clinic is not meant to establish care with Dr. Rivera, and is purely for screening purposes. If your pet is diagnosed with heart disease during the clinic, it will be recommended that a follow-up appointment be made with a cardiologist for complete cardiac evaluation and treatment. As this clinic is simply for screening, no treatments will be dispensed. Since this is a fast-paced, low cost echo clinic, you will not directly meet with Dr. Rivera. He will perform the echocardiogram and send you a report to your email with the diagnosis (if any diagnosis…

Cardiac Screening
Purchase one per pet, one at a time! Fee includes exam, echocardiogram and report. You may pay in full now, or put in a deposit and pay the rest in cash at the clinic. The OFA option is only for breeding animals that require official cardiac certification through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. This form is used to submit the animal’s cardiac exam and echocardiogram to OFA and is typically required by a breeder, breed club, registry, or CHIC program.
